1997 – Where It All Began

Protek Systems Limited was founded in the United Kingdom in 1997 as an electrical contracting business.

As the world entered the era of big data, demand for structured cabling grew sharply. Protek recognised this early shift and adapted its services to meet new technology requirements. This agility helped the company quickly establish itself as a trusted provider of high-quality data and electrical installations across the UK.

2000 – Expansion Across Europe

By the turn of the millennium, Protek Systems entered the European market, delivering strategic cabling installations for multiple global organisations.

This marked the beginning of Protek’s long-standing multinational project capability, enabling the company to support customers across borders and build a reputation for reliability, consistency, and technical strength.

2004 – Accredited Partnerships & Major Growth

In 2004, Protek Systems became an accredited partner of both CommScope and Panduit, two of the world’s leading network infrastructure manufacturers.

With these accreditations, Protek delivered projects in 40+ locations across Europe, reinforcing our position as a trusted installation partner capable of delivering to strict global standards.

2010 – Intelligent Patching & Emerging Technologies

As data centres and enterprise environments evolved, Protek pushed further into advanced infrastructure solutions.

In 2010, the company designed and delivered intelligent patching systems to multi-customer sites across Europe and the Middle East—technology that allowed customers greater visibility, security, and control of their network environments.

This ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions became a hallmark of Protek’s engineering culture.

2013 – Panduit Partner of the Year

Protek Systems earned Panduit’s Partner of the Year award in 2013, recognising outstanding quality, service, and technical contribution.

This award highlighted the company’s leadership among global partners and validated our commitment to continuous excellence.

2015 – Large-Scale Global Separation Project

In 2015, Protek completed one of its most challenging and high-profile projects: separating 20+ offices after a major global organisation split its operations.

The project—completed in just two weeks—was delivered on time and on budget, meeting strict IT security, resilience, and continuity requirements.

This achievement demonstrated Protek’s ability to execute complex, time-critical, multi-site projects with precision.

2020 – A New European Hub Opens

Protek Systems Europe celebrated a major milestone in 2020 with the opening of its first European office in Dublin, Ireland.

This expansion strengthened our presence in EMEA and allowed us to serve customers throughout Europe more efficiently and with even greater engineering coverage.

2022 – 25 Years of Protek Systems

In 2022, Protek Systems celebrated 25 successful years in business, together with our employees, partners, and customers.

The same year, the company made another statement of intent: the majority of its vehicle fleet was converted to fully electric vehicles, reflecting Protek’s commitment to sustainability and responsible business operations.

2024 – Engineering Team Grows to 50+ Across EMEA

By 2024, Protek’s engineering team exceeded 50 highly skilled engineers, supporting projects across Europe and the Middle East.

This growth allowed the company to deliver larger, more complex infrastructure programmes while maintaining the responsiveness and quality that Protek is known for.

2024 also marked the start of Protek’s expansion into North America, providing consulting and specialist support to clients preparing for new office builds and network upgrades.

2025 – Protek Systems Incorporated Launches in North America

2025 stands as a landmark year in our global journey.

Protek Systems Incorporated was officially launched in North America, rapidly establishing a presence across more than sixteen US states, as well as delivering new builds in Toronto, Canada.

In parallel, Protek continued to grow throughout Europe, completing and supporting customer sites in:

• Four European countries

• Four US States

• Canada

This marked Protek’s evolution into a fully global engineering provider with the capability to deploy, support, and maintain infrastructure across two major continents.
